What is sharing lifeand why was it started?
Our mission is to support research to find a cure for liver disease, educate the public about the need for organ donation, and support families and individuals going through the transplantation process.

Sharing Life has been established to remember and honor the life of Laura L. Neumann.

Laura Neumann, Kris' sister, extended her life by fourteen years through the gift of a kidney and liver transplant. With the transplant Laura enjoyed more time in this world.

Laura was one of the first patient to receive a double transplant in Minnesota at the University of Minnesota Hospital. Laura was courageous in her battle to survive a rare liver disease. After her transplant she was committed to educating others about the need for organ donation. Her life helped others who received transplants.

Sharing Life will continue supporting Laura's efforts. Read about how Sharing Life's first big event, the Sharing Life Walk/Run was a huge success in this effort to fulfill our mission.
